At Blatchington Manor, our Specialist Dementia Care Home in Seaford, East Sussex, we are used to seeing our team go above and beyond for our residents. However, our wonderful receptionist, Anneka Johnson, recently took “above and beyond” to new heights – 12,000 feet, to be exact!
A leap for MIND
On a mission to support mental health awareness, Anneka and her friend Mollie braved the elements to complete a thrilling 12,000-foot skydive. While most of us prefer to keep our feet firmly on the ground here in Seaford, Anneka and Mollie took the plunge to raise vital funds for MIND, a charity dedicated to ensuring no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
The courage shown by the duo is nothing short of inspiring. To date, their sky-high efforts have raised a staggering £2,685!
Why we are so proud
Mental health advocacy is a cause close to our hearts. At Blatchington Manor, we understand the profound impact of specialised support and emotional well-being. Seeing one of our own team members championing these values in such a daring way brings a huge smile to everyone’s face.
