We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager. This role comes with an attractive salary of £45,000 per annum depending upon experience. In your new role you will be providing professional leadership to the Home and will have a responsibility to ensure company’s standards and compliance.

More about the role:

You will be required to assist in the leadership and development of a leading Sussex Nursing Home by:

  • ensuring compliance with NMC professional regulations and guidelines, in addition to local Health Authority and Social Services requirements;
  • coordinating and overseeing the day to day running of the home;
  • ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life;
  • delivering effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical team;
  • managing budgets and resources.

More about you:

  • Ideally you are an experienced Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Nurse with experience working in a managerial or supervisory role in a care home setting;
  • You must be confident and have strong communication skills both oral and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills to deal with residents, visitors to the home and staff;
  • 5 years+ experience in a registration position or equivalent with demonstrable management experience;
  • A strong leader, who is able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff;
  • You can demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a nursing home;
  • You are financially aware and able to support adherence to budget.
