Christmas at Blatchington Manor
As the holiday season unfolded, all the staff at Blatchington Manor, our Specialist Dementia Care Home In Seaford, we were delighted to share the joy of Christmas with our cherished residents and their families.
This year, we planned a host of festive activities designed to create special memories, spread cheer, and bring everyone closer together.
From carol sing-alongs, local school visits, Christmas Parties, Santa visits, creative ornament-making sessions, windy walks and cosy evenings with hot chocolate and classic Christmas films, there’s been something for everyone to enjoy.
Our beautifully decorated home was full with seasonal spirit, thanks to all the staff and resident’s hard work!
Magical, Musical Christmas
Jukebox Journey came to perform and really helped getting the residents involved in the Christmas celebrations!
A Visit From Santa
One of the highlights of the season was when Santa made a special visit to our home, spreading joy and merriment to everyone! With a twinkle in his eye and a sack full of carefully chosen gifts, he took the time to personally deliver each present, handpicked just for our residents. Each gift was a great surprise for the residents, we even had some tears! It was a magical moment, filled with genuine care, as Santa made sure every resident felt the joy of the season. We’re so grateful for this visit and the special memories it created for us all! Thank you, Santa!
