Specialist Dementia Care Home In Seaford, offering a relaxing, secure and comfortable environment.

Every feature and element of its design has been considered to offer a relaxing, secure and comfortable environment. Experienced, sensitive and responsive care staff ensure that residents can continue to enjoy life as fully as possible. At South Coast Nursing Homes, we recognise that every person is unique. We will always strive to understand the individual nature of each resident, their past history, preferences needs and level of dependence. Working together with families, it is our aim to design a package of care that is specifically designed to consider how we can enable our residents to feel nurtured, content and able to enjoy every aspect of life in their new home.

Communal areas are designed to encourage social interaction alongside calming retreats where residents can enjoy smaller groups of friends or indeed private time with family. An extensive range of activities provide cognitive stimulation, promote a sense of belonging and connection with others and improve our resident’s well-being.

Each individual bedroom is equipped with a two-way intercom facility, enabling effective communication between residents and staff. Additional facilities include a large HD TV with Sky TV viewing available on request directly through Sky customer services, underfloor heating and climate control allows each resident to control the ambient temperate in their own room. A private telephone, telephone number and Wi-Fi internet connection are ready to use on the day of admission.

Further design features include personalised, illuminated memory boxes which enable easy identification and location of our residents’ bedrooms whilst also inspiring reminiscence.

Our secure summerhouse can be reached via a covered walkway which residents can enjoy all year round, enabling them to safely enjoy a sense of freedom and benefit from invigorating fresh air whenever they like.

Please do get in touch with one of the team to arrange a visit to see for yourself. You’ll aways be sure of a warm welcome and expert advice.

Fantastic care home, more like a hotel than a home, clean, friendly, nothing is too much trouble, lovely atmosphere, food is amazing, carers interact with the residents. Overall, an amazing care home, thank you.

Susie I (Friend of Resident)16 October 2024

I visit my mother once a week and take her out to lunch. She is always prepared and dressed, ready to go. On arrival, I am greeted by staff and management, who are polite and courteous and are all well informed about my mother and her needs. This is Mum's second care home, and the difference in the care, treatment and activities is palpable. It is an hour's travel for me, but it's worth it for Mum's care and happiness.

I G (Son of Resident)19 August 2024

My mum has been a resident since January 2022 and we have been really happy with the home and the quality of care she receives. She has at times been difficult to look after with increasing agitation due to the progress of her disease and staff have managed this with kindness and respect. The communication from the home has been excellent with incidents concerning our mum detailed on the app and by phone call. The house and garden are lovely and all staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for what you do

Sidney F (Daughter of Resident)22 Jul 2024

I have been delighted with this care home. I had looked after Mum at home for seven years so this decision was a difficult one... but she has settled so well. The staff are really kind, they listen and have worked out what is the best care for her. She looks less anxious and has told me that it is nice there. There is much for her to join in with or just observe. The surroundings are lovely. Blessed to have found this place.
