D-Day Commemorations – Blatchington Manor, Specialist Dementia Care Home in Seaford
Residents and staff of Blatchington Manor Specialist Dementia Care Home went to the War Memorial in Seaford for the D-Day Commemorations on the 6th of June. It was a chance to remember those who took part in the landings in 1944. It was the largest seaborne invasion in history and marked the beginning of the liberation of France and western Europe. All who attended remembered and honoured the service and sacrifice of that generation.
