Language Learning at Berkeley Lodge Nursing Home, Worthing
At Berkeley Lodge Nursing Home in Worthing a new in-house basic foreign language tutorial course called “¿Hola Amigos?” has been rolled out. Activities Lead, Melliza Malonzo Marcos, led the Spanish class, while our very own Jean Hertz began offering French lessons and Sylvia Perschke, German. This initiative has been a stimulating addition to our monthly activities. The beginner group is steadily growing with relatives’ participation too
Roll Up Roll Up for the Circus in Seaford – Blatchington Manor
At our specialist dementia care home in Seaford, Blatchington Manor, some of our residents had the change to take a trip to the circus recently. It was certainly a case of big fun at the Big Top as the crowd were treated to some hire wire acts of daring and all-round entertainment. There was even a chance to have some treats with Hot Dogs, Candy Floss and Pop Corn the order of the day.
New Summer House at Eastridge Manor, Bolney
There has been a new edition to the beautiful gardens at our Nursing Home in Bolney, Eastridge Manor. The Summer House offers visitors and residents a lovely cosy spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. It’s position offers great views of the pond and gardens.
