Birthdays
The home has been lucky enough to celebrate not 1 but 3 landmark birthdays with two of our residents, Pam and Jane turning 101 and Betty celebrating 100 years. Many happy returns to you all.
Senior Citizens Tea Party
At South Coast Nursing Homes, we strive to ensure our homes are part of the community and residents were able to put that into practice by joining others from the area, at the Senior Citizens Summer Tea Party which took place at the Burgess Hill School for Girls. There was tea, cake and great entertainment. Everyone who attended had a fabulous time.
Runner Beans from Seed to Plate
This summer the home came together and endeavoured to grow their own runner beans and were rewarded with a bumper crop. The satisfaction of harvesting their own runner beans was only surpassed by the fabulous taste when the catering team made them part of a delicious meal recently.
Strawberry Tea Party
To celebrate the summer, the activities team organised a brilliant Strawberry themed tea party with Strawberry Mice, Cheese snacks and fruit-based quizzes. It was great excuse to get out into the garden, spend some time together and enjoy the sunshine!
