South Coast Nursing Homes

A Nursing Home provides fully trained and registered nurses 24 hours a day to plan, implement and oversee the care given to each patient depending on their individual nursing requirements. This means any medical conditions that require nursing intervention can be accommodated in a Nursing Home. The Nursing Homes provide private bedrooms with en suite facilities and all the comforts of home. They have been carefully and thoughtfully designed to ensure they never feel like a hospital environment.

All of our homes providing nursing care have staff trained to care for residents with life limiting progressive diseases. We work with other community professionals to ensure the best care is provided to people living with frailty and dementia symptoms.

The care that is received in a Residential Home is provided by experienced care assistants rather than trained nurses. If medical intervention is required then a General Practitioner will come into the home to provide the necessary service. In all our homes we pride ourselves on promoting independence and individuality for each resident. Personal care is planned along with the resident and their families’ involvement; we ensure that all our care staff are fully trained to meet the needs of each resident.

A Dementia Residential Home is a home that is specifically equipped and trained to care for residents with mild to moderate dementia. People living with a dementia type disease who can no longer live safely in the community, may chose with their family, to reside in Dementia residential care. These homes are designed to assist with all the activities of daily living, and provide the support to ensure all our residents enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.
