White Lodge Residential Care Home – East Preston Festival 2024
White Lodge Residential Care Home in East Preston will be taking part in the events of the East Preston Festival.
This festival happens each year, fundraising for the local community.
The 2024 festival will be running from Friday 31st May to Sunday 9th June. This year’s theme is – “In the Sea, On the Sea, By the Sea”.
White Lodge staff and residents will be joining in with, and hosting the following fundraising activities:
- Residents will be taking part in building a scarecrow for the competition again. This will be displayed from outside the home on Friday 31st May.
- Residents will be able to go out on the Scarecrow Trail, throughout the week to see all the other entries.
- The open gardens and art trail will be on Saturday 1st and Monday 3rd June, 1 pm to 5 pm. We will be having local artists Katie and Zoe displaying their artwork around the garden over both days.
- Saturday 1st June, to entertain visitors, we have arranged “Alexis” to sing live in the garden from 2 pm to 3.30 pm. Throughout the afternoon we will also have “Howie’s Coffee & Co”, providing refreshments from his bespoke horsebox.
