Olympics at Blatchington Manor
The residents and staff at Blatchington Manor had lots of fun for the summer Olympics opening 2021.
Throughout the week the home did lots of different crafts, painting the Olympic rings, making the Olympic torch, & baking Olympic ring shortbread.
Throughout the day we had our own summer Olympics with lots of different games and medals to be won!
The BM parade walked with the Olympic torch to where the day was going to be held and once the ribbon was cut, it was time to start the games!
Residents enjoyed their fish & chips lunch in the lounge to watch the opening ceremony.
All staff participated by wearing activewear and all chose a random country by picking a random flag to keep till the end of the Olympics.
