Blatchington Manor – Upcoming activities for November 2021
Blatchington Manor have a variety of exciting activities coming up in November, including:
- Tuesday 2nd – National Stress Awareness Day
To help residents relax there will be a relaxation retreat running throughout the day, and also arts and crafts sessions making stress balls
- Friday 5th – Bonfire Night
To celebrate Bonfire Night there will be a fireworks display, art classes painting firework pictures, and also themed reminiscence sessions
- Tuesday 9th – Special Church Service
The local Church will be visiting Blatchington Manor to sing hymns, and say a few prayers. Communion will also be available for those wishing to take
- Monday 8th-Sunday 14th – Remembrance Week
To honour Remembrance Week there will be a poppy display in the reception area, with all different types of poppies made by the residents in art club. There will also be retro baking sessions, a 1940s themed afternoon tea party, and a special Remembrance Sunday Tribute
- Thursday 18th – Children in Need fundraiser
Blatchington Manor will be hosting a variety of different activities to help raise donations for Children in Need, including face painting, and a themed Pudsey treasure hunt. Staff and residents will also be encouraged to wear Pudsey colours

- Saturday 27th-Sunday 5th – National Tree Week
To celebrate the tree councils ‘National Tree Week’ there will be many themed activities taking place including nature watches, garden based fun, winter walks with games of ‘name that tree’, and art classes making tree collages
